Aug 5, 2023

Fort Dodge Federated Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Lion’s Den, 731 Exposition Road. For the “Lifting Spirits” program, members will perform a hands-on service project, creating tray bouquets for care center residents. In preparation for the activity, members should bring small flowers, small containers (Dixie cups and laundry detergent caps, for examples), soaked foam, and cutting tools. Merna Thomas will give the ornamental grass report on Japanese Bloodgrass. Roll call answers will be what is blooming in the member’s yard that week. The serving committee is Judith Walrod and Sharon Perkins. Visitors are welcome.
